I Came Across this blog post and i feel it really touched my heart as this is really what love means
Here it goes....
Love isn't about two different people changing themselves to someone they expect of each other.
Love isn't about two different people changing who they are to be like each other so they can become "one".
That would make the relationship a burden. Cause trying so hard will only leave you tired, and at the end of it all, you'll realise you've become a person you no longer recognise. Someone that isn't you. Someone that lives only for another person.
Instead, love is about two different people coming together, aware of their differences, but still deciding to walk this journey together. It's about accepting each other, and improving ourselves to match each other. Not changing oneself completely, but finding out your flaws and improving them. So you can give your best to the one you love. The best of You. Not the person he expects you to be. Not the person you think is "the perfect one". But You. No one else. Because You are who he loves. You are who he has decided to be with, despite how different you may be from him.
